Involving Many Artists and Influencers, Soegimitro Creates a Song with a Film-Like Music Video

Not satisfied with just shaping the good character of entrepreneurs, influencers, and local artists, this time Soegimitro produced his first work entitled I Don't Want to Make You Cry.

Uniquely, Soegimitro's debut work is very different from the others. Namely, the music video for the song 'I Won't Make You Cry' is packaged with a film-like nuance with a total duration of 20 minutes. However, for Soegimitro, singing is a new challenge for him because he only learned vocal training five times. But he admitted that at first, this was just a prank.

"From not being able to sing to releasing a single. Initially, because of posting several singing attempts after learning vocal, it turned out that several songwriters sent songs and said that Soegimitro had a unique voice character," said Soegimitro when met in the Pantai Indah Kapuk area, North Jakarta, Wednesday (3/30).

The music video for this song is also spiced up with drama and action scenes. The choreographer for the action scenes was directed by MMA athlete, Rudy Ahong.

"Vicky Prasetyo and Celine Evangelista were supposed to be part of this MV, but due to scheduling conflicts, they couldn't participate," he said.

"Rudy Ahong Raja KO MMA Indonesia was trusted as the fight choreographer. He started practicing falling techniques and also how to take down opponents. In addition, he took boxing classes with a personal trainer to improve his punching movements. He learned Nunchaku from Youtube for his performance." he concluded.

After that, three weeks later, the idea of making a single and music video for the song 'Ku Tak Akan Buatmu Menangis' came up. Soegimitro didn't play around and involved artists, influencers, entrepreneurs, and other professions to participate in this project, such as Ridho Illahi, Koko Jackson, Rudy Ahong, Kezia Amelia.

Then there were Judo Twins, Edo Twins, Derie Arya, Selma Kezia, Praisellawokas, Ghisela Kell, Velorina Elsatya, James Gwee, Antonius Rovy, Ivonne Suwandi, and even Vicky Prasetyo and Celine Evangelista were supposed to be part of it.

"Soegimitro repeatedly refused offers to sing those songs because he didn't think about becoming a singer. Until one day the song 'Ku Tak Akan Buatmu Menangis' came up, after listening to it, the words really fit Soegimitro's personal character," he continued.
