Ronaldinho's arrival was announced by Raffi at the press conference "The Extraordinary Story of Rans FC: Superstar Announcement," in Jakarta, on Tuesday (29/3).
The event was attended by Minister of Youth and Sports Zainudin Amali, PSSI Chairman Mochammad Iriawan, as well as Arema FC President Gilang Widya Pramana and Persis Solo CEO Kaesang Pangarep.
"Our plan is to bring in two top world players and one is already a done deal, it's Ronaldinho," said Raffi Ahmad virtually.

Raffi said Ronaldinho will come to Indonesia in June 2022. Ronaldinho will not join RANS Cilegon FC to strengthen the Liga 1 competition.
However, Ronaldinho will only play in a charity game that will be followed by four big teams in the Indonesian League.
"Insha Allah, 99.99 percent by the end of June he (Ronaldinho) will come to Indonesia. We will inform you of the exact date later. He will be in Jakarta and Bali for two weeks," said Raffi.
To ensure Ronaldinho's arrival, Raffi showed a video recording of Ronaldinho greeting the Indonesian people. In addition, Ronaldinho also gave a Brazil jersey with number 10 that he once wore, complete with his signature, to President Jokowi.
"This is the jersey that Ronaldinho gave with his signature. He said this jersey is for our President, Mr. Jokowi," said Raffi, who then gave the jersey to Kaesang Pangarep to be given to Jokowi.

Raffi also said that there will be a show where President Jokowi kicks the ball and Ronaldinho becomes the goalkeeper.
"Mr. President kicks, Ronaldinho is ready to be his goalkeeper for the ceremony," said Nagita Slavina's husband.
Meanwhile, Rans Cilegon FC Chairman Rudy Salim hopes that the arrival of the Brazilian player who has played for Barcelona and AC Milan can boost Indonesian football.
"We hope Ronaldinho's arrival can increase public enthusiasm for Indonesian football and motivate players to advance national football," said Rudy Salim.
