Isyana Sarasvati Mentions Ready to be Attacked by Haters After the Release of 'PETUALANGAN SHERINA 2' Trailer, Why?

Kapanlagi.com - After twenty-three years, the sequel titled PETUALANGAN SHERINA 2 will be shown in cinemas throughout Indonesia in September. To pique the curiosity of the audience, the official trailer has been released.

In the two minutes and 30-second trailer, it not only shows what the interaction between Sherina and Sadam, who are now adults, is like. But it also introduces the character Ratih played by Isyana Sarasvati.

1. Ready to be Attacked by Haters

Although in the trailer Isyana Sarasvati only sings, the lyrics of the song indicate that she is the antagonist in PETUALANGAN SHERINA 2. Therefore, Isyana says she is ready to be attacked by haters after they watch the film trailer.

"Honestly, I'm shivering because it turns out that my scene was leaked quite a bit. My character looks quite adorable, but also a bit annoying. Maybe after this, there will be many haters. But it's okay, hopefully, it can bring a breath of fresh air and color to this film," said Isyana, encountered at Epicentrum XXI, Rasuna Said area, South Jakarta, Thursday (20/7/2023).

2. Practicing Scenes in the Film

Isyana Sarasvati admits that she is a fan of the film PETUALANGAN SHERINA. When she was a child, she was even inspired by a scene and tried to practice it.

"I am a big fan of the first film, so I didn't expect to be a part of the sequel. When I was offered the role, I wanted to cry. Because when I was little, I once brought chocolate and asked to play with Mbak. I said, 'Mbak, later I will pretend to disappear, and you look for me, okay? Find me using this chocolate'. That's how much I love Sherina," said Isyana.
