Kapanlagi.com - Jakarta Metro Police have arrested four perpetrators of ticket fraud for Coldplay music concert. The four suspects are MS, MHH, AB, and A. Director of Reskrimsus Jakarta Metro Police, Kombes Auliansyah Lubis said, the suspects were arrested at their respective homes in South Sulawesi.
"We made the arrests in South Sulawesi at their respective homes in Maritengngae Village, Sidengreng Rapang Regency," said Kombes Auliansyah Lubis in Jakarta on Monday (5/6/2023).
"So we arrested all four of them at their respective homes, in nearby locations," he added.

Auliansyah revealed that the motive of the four suspects was to commit ticket fraud for Coldplay concert. According to him, they took advantage of the moment because many people still wanted to get tickets for the British band's concert.
"So these perpetrators saw that our society needed tickets and they were difficult to obtain, so they made a modus operandi that we caught in advance," he said.
2. 6-Year Criminal Sanction
For their actions, the four suspects are subject to a maximum prison sentence of six years and/or a fine of IDR 1 billion.
"The article that we applied to the suspects is Article 28 Paragraph 1 in conjunction with Article 45A Paragraph 1 of Law Number 19 of 2016 concerning Amendments to Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions. Under this article, they can be sentenced to a maximum of six years in prison and/or a fine of IDR 1 billion," concluded Auliansyah.
