Jerome Polin just expressed his anger when offered to be a buzzer during the massive demonstration that is currently chaotic in Jakarta.
Not long after voicing support for the enforcement of justice for Affan Kurniawan, he was contacted by parties asking him to become a government buzzer.
In a screenshot uploaded by Jerome (29/8), he was asked to create IG Reels with the context of a peace invitation from the government, the parliament, the police, ride-hailing drivers, and the community. Not to mention, Jerome also revealed the payment offered, amounting to Rp 150 million.
He also highlighted that the people's money is being used to create narratives that portray everything as fine. Jerome rejected this and warned against being complacent and divided.
He cannot accept that tax money is used for such things. Jerome also pointed out that instead of paying buzzers, that money could be used to increase teachers' salaries by 10 million per person.
"Dear agency and KOL, I ask this time, please do not sacrifice the people for your own interests. Everyone is struggling, we are fighting together, okay? Please," emphasized Jerome Polin in his post.
