Joko claimed that it took six months to find the Juliana tunnel as the location. After searching from one end of Java to the other, nothing that matched his vision was found.

"There is one location in the scenario, which is a tunnel that represents many things in the story. We searched for the tunnel for six months from the left end of Java to the right end of Java and couldn't find it. Until someone said that their friend had tracked and passed a tunnel above Pangandaran. Its name is Juliana," said Joko, who was met in the Cipete area, South Jakarta, recently.

Based on this information, Joko Anwar and his team conducted a recce to the Juliana tunnel located in Cimandala Village, Pangandaran Regency, West Java.

Apparently, it is not easy to reach the location because it must be reached on foot.

"We went straight there but couldn't bring vehicles to reach the tunnel, had to walk for more than half an hour. And finally, when we arrived at the tunnel, it was filled with bats. There was a lot of bat droppings below it," said Joko.

Joko Anwar was immediately fascinated by the tunnel and felt that Juliana was a good choice to bring the SIKSA KUBUR scenario to life.

For the needs of shooting SIKSA KUBUR, the swamp location was filled with soil and sand.

"It's a Dutch era tunnel that has been submerged in marshes because it's not used. If you want to use it, you have to be careful. Finally, we made it safe, we buried it again with soil and sand to make it secure. We didn't paint or do anything to the walls, just cleaned it to make it safe and to ensure there are no real snakes," said Joko.
