Judges Direct Mediation Related to Zumi Zola's Divorce Lawsuit

Kapanlagi.com - Former lover Ayu Dewi, Zumi Zola is being sued by his wife, Sherrin Tharia. The lawsuit was registered in the South Jakarta Religious Court under number 1244/Pdt.G/2020/PA.JS since March 2020.

1. Temporarily Delayed

When met at the South Jakarta Religious Court, on Wednesday (24/6) afternoon, Cece Rukmana Ibrahim as the spokesperson for the South Jakarta Religious Court said that the trial was indeed delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. After that, the first trial was finally held on June 17, 2020 with the agenda of direct mediation.

"On June 17, 2020, the panel of judges directly directed the mediation in accordance with the MA regulation no.1 of 2016," said Cece.

"Why mediation? Because it is mentioned that if both parties are present at the first trial that day, both parties are represented by their legal representatives, if both are present at the trial, then the examination will be directly mediated with a mediator," he continued.

2. No Results Yet

After conducting the first trial, there is still no information regarding the results of the mediation between the two parties. Because as of today, the South Jakarta Religious Court has not received any reports or information from the mediator who conducted the mediation.

"Yesterday, the agenda was postponed by the panel of judges, the agenda was for mediation. Regarding the mediation, we as the spokesperson for the South Jakarta Religious Court have not received any information because it needs to be coordinated with the mediator, the mediator has not reported to us yet," he concluded.
