Justin Frederick Accused of Provocation Before Beating Incident, Indah Kurnia: The Perpetrator Feels No Guilt

The reason is that before the incident, Justin's beloved car was hit by the perpetrator. Especially when hit, the perpetrator did not feel guilty at all.

"Justin just bought the car, a used car from his friend, he composed it himself, just look at Justin's car, it's clean and shiny, he composed it himself, he took care of it for a few months, he was very careful with his car," said Indah Kurnia when met in the VIP room of the DPR RI building, Jakarta, Monday (6/6).

"When his car was hit, but the perpetrator did not feel guilty and even chased him," she continued.

1. Unaware of the Perpetrator's Motive

Indah Kurnia felt that if they had only argued after the collision, the problem between Justin Frederick and his opponent would not have happened. In addition, when asked further about the motive of the perpetrator of the assault, she considered that what her son experienced should have been just a normal incident on the road.

"As for the motive, I don't know. We are not in that capacity. I think it was just an accident on the road," she said.

2. Taking the Law into One's Own Hands

Indah Kurnia deeply regrets the actions of the perpetrator who took the law into their own hands. Continuing her mother's statement, Verlita also questions whether such actions are appropriate for the perpetrator to take.

"The vigilante justice, the video that went viral, that's what we regret. Maybe if they argued and the car was damaged, that would be understandable," said Indah Kurnia.

"What bothers me is, regardless of whatever mistake they made, is it appropriate to be treated like that?" added Verlita Evelyn.

Furthermore, there are rumors that Justin was accused of provoking the perpetrator of the assault. Verlita Evelyn also spoke out about this matter.

"(The provocation) happened after his car was hit first and it was also from the perpetrator's side, supposedly. So I heard about this incident, someone said something," she said.

4. Not Saying Much

The wife of Ivan Saba also emphasized that the accusation that Justin provoked the perpetrator first is up to the perpetrator who assaulted her brother. However, she does not want to say much because she did not witness the incident firsthand.

"If I personally experienced the same thing, I would also feel angry. But what bothers me is, regardless of the issue, is it appropriate to do such an act (assault)?" she concluded.
