Kalina Ocktaranny Still Waiting for Vicky Prasetyo's Mother to Apologize

The dispute began from a comment made by Emma Fauziah on Kalina Ocktaranny's Instagram post. The comment was deemed to contain elements of body shaming and even mentioned the name of Kalina's late mother.

Feeling aggrieved by the statement, Kalina then sent a formal notice to Emma Fauziah. According to her, the comment made had crossed the line and defamed her family's reputation.

2. Vicky Prasetyo Apologizes on Behalf of His Mother

Amid the ongoing controversy, Vicky Prasetyo attempted to mediate. He uploaded a video containing an apology to Kalina on behalf of his mother.

This step was taken as a good faith gesture so that the issue involving both parties could be resolved quickly without dragging on.

3. Kalina Continues to Wait for a Direct Apology

Although appreciating Vicky Prasetyo's attitude, Kalina emphasized that this issue is not between herself and her ex-husband, but rather with Emma Fauziah.

"Thank you for your apology. Without diminishing my respect, I am still waiting for an apology from your mother. Because the issue here is not between me and Mr. VP, but with Mr. VP's mother who has brought up the name of my late mother," wrote Kalina.

She hopes that a meeting with Emma Fauziah can be arranged soon as promised by Vicky in front of media colleagues.

4. Want the Issue to be Resolved Familially

In her post, Kalina expressed her hope that the issue could be resolved amicably without causing prolonged controversy.

"So that the existing problem can be resolved in a familial way. Without any drama, and also to restore my good name," she wrote.

Kalina closed her message with a thank you and the phrase, "God does not sleep," as an affirmation of her stance in facing the issue.
