Karina Ranau Officially Reports Alleged Violence to the Police, Undergoes Medical Examination

Kapanlagi.com - Karina Ranau has chosen to take legal action after becoming a victim of suspected violence in the Kalibata area, South Jakarta. The wife of the late Epy Kusnandar claimed to have reported the man who allegedly pushed her until she fell to the police.

Karina stated that she followed all the necessary procedures, from filing the report to undergoing a medical examination as part of the legal process.

"I came to report and indeed the procedure there we have to follow the procedures to make a report. To bring someone in, there also has to be according to the BAP, there is evidence of the medical examination and everything. So I had already gone for the medical examination, accompanied by the police officer. I waited until 10 PM before I was done," said Karina Ranau when met in the Kalibata area on Tuesday (16/6/2026).

1. Still Waiting for the Autopsy Results

Currently, Karina is still waiting for the official autopsy results, which are expected to be released in about a week.

"I don't know the results yet, they say it can take about a week for the autopsy results," said Karina.

2. Refuses to Meet the Perpetrator

Although she was at the police station at the same time as the perpetrator, Karina admitted that she refused to meet because she is still traumatized by the incident.

"Yesterday he was there (at the police station), I was there too, but I didn't want to meet. I don't want to see his face, I'm still traumatized. It feels too soon to make peace. Can he... can they replace the pain of my parents?," she said.

3. Imagine the Feelings of the Parents

Karina admitted to feeling even more affected when imagining her parents' feelings upon seeing her being treated harshly after struggling alone since her husband left her.

"Seeing their child who is already tired, has been left by her own husband, has been working tirelessly, and then being treated like that by others. It hurts my parents' feelings like that. My hope is, I just want to give a lesson, a deterrent effect," Karina emphasized.
