Kirana Larasati Suggests Not to Be Tempted by Discounts for Aesthetic Surgery, Look for Credible Options

Kapanlagi.com - Actress Kirana Larasati shared her experience undergoing nose surgery in Thailand. She emphasized the importance of conducting thorough research before deciding to undergo aesthetic procedures, especially in choosing doctors and medical facilities.

"All surgeries come with risks, especially major surgeries that involve general anesthesia. But once we decide to go through with the procedure, we have to accept the risks," Kirana stated when met in the Kapten Tendean area, Mampang, South Jakarta, on Monday (17/2/2025).

According to Kirana, thorough research is crucial to ensure safety and achieve the best results. She even spent up to six months gathering information before finally choosing a hospital in Thailand.

"I always take my time with everything. For this, it was probably about 6 months of browsing, because I already had the idea in mind. So I browsed for where is good, in which country I feel comfortable," she explained.

1. Choose a Credible Doctor

For Kirana, choosing a credible doctor and facility is far more important than looking for cheap prices. She emphasizes that such procedures should not be done carelessly.

"Not looking for discounts. What I mean is, we deal with the price, bargain the price is okay, that has to be it even. But we must research who the doctor is, whether the hospital is credible or not, how people's reviews are," Kirana added.

2. Costs of Hundreds of Millions

This surgical procedure costs quite a lot, nearly Rp 200 million. However, Kirana feels that the cost is worth the results she obtained.

"Draining the budget is all relative. At that time it was almost 200 million. But if the results are good and meet expectations, why not?" she said.

3. Advice from Kirana

Kirana hopes that her experience can serve as a lesson for many people to always consider all risks before undergoing medical procedures. "Must research, don’t be tempted by discounts, and make sure everything is safe," she concluded.
