Label Proactive Sends Open Summons to Syakir Daulay Regarding YouTube Channel Sale Dispute

Kapanlagi.com - ProAktif record label expresses disappointment with the attitude of Syakir Daulay, who seems to deny having received money from them. This disappointment is related to ProAktif, who claims to have purchased Syakir Daulay's YouTube channel for Rp 200 million and also provided a 15 percent royalty.

"So we bought his YouTube channel and gave him (Syakir) a 15 percent royalty. The total value that has been transferred to Syakir in April and May is Rp 27 million," said ProAktif's legal representative, Absul Fakhridz, at the South Jakarta District Court on Tuesday (28/7).

1. Already Sent Money

In addition, Abdul Fakhridz also emphasized that the 15 percent percentage amounting to Rp 27 million has been sent to Syakir's account some time ago. However, when Syakir underwent an examination of the Examination Report at the Metro Jaya Regional Police on July 13, 2020, regarding the Pro Aktif report, the teenager born in Aceh on January 10, 2002, did not admit to it.

"After the money entered his (Syakir's) account, then the admin confirmed to WhatsApp Syakir, that the money had been transferred for tens of millions, that was on May 29, 2020. So he dared to tell the media colleagues that the royalty was not received at all. That's why we have concluded that this person deliberately planned something to convey lies in front of the public," he said.

"The aim is to undermine the reputation and credibility of Mr. Agy Sugianto himself. I don't know who is playing behind it until he dares," he continued.

2. Deliver Open Summons

Therefore, Abdul Fakhridz delivers an open summons to Syakir and his legal team, to clarify the defamation that was conveyed in front of the media regarding not receiving a 15 percent royalty.

Furthermore, ProAktif gives Syakir Daulay seven days from the date this news is published, to provide clarification in front of the media. Previously, Syakir Daulay filed a civil lawsuit against ProAktif, in this case Sugianto and several other respondents, namely YouTube and Google, to the South Jakarta District Court, on July 9, 2020.
