The Case of the Gono Gini Property Lawsuit, Atalarik Syach Doesn't Want to Deal with Tsania Marwa's Belongings

Kapanlagi.com - Atalarik Syach and Tsania Marwa were seen attending a mediation session regarding the joint property in the Religious Court of Cibinong, Bogor, West Java, on Friday (17/7). After the session, Atalarik Syach, as the defendant, stated that the mediation did not go smoothly.

"Alhamdulillah, finally I can come here for the second time. The first time, the plaintiff did not show up, so we could only meet now. But the mediation did not go well," said Atalarik Syach.

1. What Assets Are Being Sued?

Atalarik Syach's legal representative, Raaf Sanja Halatta, explained the reason why the mediation did not go smoothly. According to him, there was a misperception about the assets being sued.

"Now, what the plaintiff is demanding for immovable property is the pre-marital assets. So, it should not be interpreted as if the plaintiff's assets are the pre-marital assets obtained by Mr. Arik and fully owned by him, then brought into the marriage and considered by the plaintiff as shared assets. That's a different mistake," he said.

2. Not Willing to Deal with Other People's Property

According to Atalarik Syach, all the shared assets during the marriage have already been given to Tsania Marwa. Therefore, he is not willing to deal with the disputed items raised by his ex-wife.

"I don't know (what assets), my life is not for dealing with other people's property, that's it, my life is not used to deal with her belongings. Of course, she has already taken everything," said Atalarik Syach.

"We will prove it in the main court hearing. So, today, the mediation is declared unsuccessful and the next court hearing will continue on Wednesday, July 22nd," concluded Raaf Sanja Halatta.
