Former Husband Sues for Property Division, Jenita Janet Shocked Parents' House Included in the Distribution List

Kapanlagi.com - Jenita Janet has officially become a widow after the judge granted her divorce petition against Alief Hedy Nurmaulid. However, the end of the divorce process has not brought relief to Jenita because her ex-husband is demanding a division of the joint property.

This clearly surprised the singer because she did not include that matter in the divorce petition. Instead, it is now Alief who is demanding the division.

"I swear I don't understand, I don't comprehend, because I didn't demand anything from him. I have sincerely accepted the status of a widow. But as soon as I have sincerely accepted it, he demands it from me. Honestly, I didn't expect it," said Jenita, met in the Kapten Tendean area, South Jakarta, Monday (13/7/2020).

Jenita Janet said that Alief himself registered whatever assets that need to be divided while building a household. However, there is one thing that shocked Jenita because her parents' house was included in the list.

"What is shocking is my parents' house. It's really bad, like... wow! That house was bought with my personal money given to my parents. But it is included in the demand because it was bought when we got married," said the woman who is known for often wearing wigs.

Furthermore, Jenita Janet asked her ex-husband to treat her with more respect as a woman who was once loved. Just with the divorce, don't add more problems.

"We already have our own lives, I have sincerely accepted all the disappointments from yesterday, so I really ask him that we respect each other, pray for each other's happiness. When he demands something, he says 'This is the country's regulation', so I was shocked. If he is a good man, who used to love me, for example, if there are assets with me, maybe he will willingly let go of all of that, maybe. I don't know, maybe there are other motivations (besides the demand for asset division). But I appreciate it and remember, once again, I will not demand anything from him," concluded the singer of the song Di-reject.
