Legal Counsel Says Putra Siregar and Rico Valentino Misinterpreted Chandrika Chika's Tears

Kapanlagi.com - Chandrika Chika has fulfilled the summons of the South Jakarta Metro Police and was questioned as a witness regarding the assault case against MNA with suspects Putra Siregar and Rico Valentino, on Thursday (21/4/2022).

In her testimony, Chandrika Chika explained to the police that on the day before the assault, she had karaoke with Putra Siregar and Rico Valentino in the Senopati area, South Jakarta.

"At that time, Chika left first (from the karaoke place) to meet her friends. Then Putra Siregar and Rico Valentino went to Kafe Kode without an appointment with Chika, they met again at Kafe Kode," said Roofi Ardian describing Chika's testimony.

1. Accidentally Meeting a Friend

At the cafe, Roofi continued, Chika accidentally met her old friend named Nabila and they hugged each other while crying. Because they had a disagreement before and then apologized.

However, unexpectedly, Chika's crying seemed to be misinterpreted by the two suspects.

"They thought Chika was treated badly by the victim, so the beating happened," said Roofi.

2. Declared as Suspects

Previously, Putra Siregar and Rico Valentino were declared as suspects, after beating a young man named MNA who was later known as M. Nur Alamsyah.

The beating incident occurred at a cafe in the Senopati area, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, on March 2 at 02.30 AM.

They were then declared as suspects and detained under Article 170 of the Criminal Code regarding beating. The punishment, five years imprisonment.
