Many Adult Scenes Performed by Laura Basuki in the Film 'SLEEP CALL', Producer Involves Special Parties for Comfort

Kapanlagi.com - Laura Basuki was chosen as the main actress in the suspense thriller film SLEEP CALL. For the needs of the story, many adult scenes had to be performed by the actress.

Before the scene was executed, Susanti Dewi as the producer had a special conversation with Laura to ensure the actress's comfort during filming. Then, the use of an intimacy coordinator handled by Hagai Pakan was agreed upon.

"We had a lot of discussions before filming, especially with Laura and the actor who played in that scene. We asked Laura specifically how she wanted to approach certain scenes because as a producer, we wanted the actors to give their best and we needed to prepare accordingly. Laura then recommended an intimacy coordinator named Hagai Pakan," said Susanti at Epicentrum XXI, Rasuna Said area, South Jakarta, Wednesday (6/9/2023).

1. Translating the Director's Vision

Intimacy coordinator then listens to the creative desires based on the director's vision. From there, they facilitate the actors to translate that vision comfortably.

"The intimacy coordinator is responsible for choreographing and preparing the creative needs so that the desired scenes by the director can be executed safely and comfortably," said Susanti Dewi.

2. Ensuring the Best

This vision translation is not done once. The intimacy coordinator continues to coordinate with the producer, director, cinematographer, and casting team to ensure smooth shooting.

"We have several meetings, discussing preparations involving the producer, director, DOP (cinematographer), casting team, and intimacy coordinator. We ensure that in this scene, the actors can give their best performance," concluded Susanti Dewi.
