Meggy Wulandari Holds Back Tears During Divorce Trial with Kiwil, Admits Being Expelled by First Wife

Kapanlagi.com - Divorce trial of comedian Kiwil with his second wife Meggy Wulandari was held again at the Cibinong Religious Court, West Java, on Monday (27/7). This time, the trial was attended by witnesses and evidence. Kiwil and Meggy's eldest son, Rifky, was also present as a witness.

“Rifky was brought in as a witness, so he was asked if he wanted to stay with someone and Rifky answered that he wanted to stay with his mother,” said Soraya, Meggy Wulandari's legal representative, who was met after the trial.

“Rifky has been with me since he was little, and besides, Kiwil has another wife, Rohimah, so he has his own family. Therefore, it is certain that Rifky will stay with me,” added Meggy Wulandari.

1. Holding Back Tears Seeing the Child as a Witness

Although Rifky was very strong and could answer the judge's questions smoothly in the courtroom, as a mother, Meggy Wulandari also felt her child's sadness. “Even though he didn't say anything, I know my child's feelings. When my child was sitting there. Astagfirullah,” said Meggy Wulandari while holding back tears.

Meggy Wulandari could only pat her child's head and express her gratitude for being a witness in the divorce trial.

“That's why I just pat his head and say thank you for coming here, accompanying me and sitting there. He remains cool and silent, answering honestly and loudly. I think if he could choose, he wouldn't want to be born into a family like this,” she explained.

2. Sempat Diusir

Besides that, she also mentioned that there was no effort from Kiwil to invite their children to live together. It's understandable that their children choose to live with their mother.

"Whether he wants to persuade or live wherever, I asked Kiwil, he's not a widower when he divorced me, Kiwil has another wife. Even Mbak Rohimah came (to the house) to kick us out and showed inappropriate behavior. I'm sorry, but this is the truth," she said.

"How could my children choose to live with Kiwil. His stepmother is fierce. That's it. I'm sure you understand, it's not easy for my children and they're used to being relaxed, but I'm the one who gets emotional," concluded Meggy Wulandari.
