Michael Yukinobu de Fretes Avoids Media Crews After Completing Mandatory Reporting, Turns Out This Is the Reason

Kapanlagi.com - Gisella Anastasia fulfilled the summons to report for the case of a 19-second explicit video at the Jakarta Metropolitan Police, Monday (18/1). Meanwhile, Gisel's co-star in the explicit video, Michael Yukinobu de Fretes alias Nobu, also fulfilled the summons for mandatory reporting.

However, Nobu himself, without the knowledge of the media crew waiting for him at the location, had already completed his obligation. According to Nobu's lawyer, Irwansyah, his client arrived at the Subdit Cyber Crime building of the Special Criminal Investigation Directorate of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police at 10:00 AM, after which Nobu had finished his mandatory reporting to the authorities.

"He was examined at 10:00 AM, and it was done in just five minutes," said Irwansyah, contacted by phone on Monday (18/1).

1. Currently Unwell

Nobu, who seemed to be hiding from the media, claimed to be currently unwell, so he decided to return home immediately after fulfilling his mandatory reporting. Nobu's legal counsel ensured that his client would still cooperate with the mandatory reporting summons at the Jakarta Metropolitan Police.

"He is currently unwell," said Irwansyah.

"Nobu will also continue to cooperate in fulfilling this mandatory reporting summons," he added.

2. Designated Suspect

Previously, Gisella Anastasia and Michael Yukinobu De Fretes were both designated as suspects in a circulating explicit video on social media. The video, acknowledged by Gading Marten's ex-wife, was recorded by herself during her stay at a hotel in Medan, North Sumatra in 2017.

Both of them are charged under Article 4 paragraph 1 Jo Article 29 and/or Article 8 Jo Law number 44 of 2008 concerning Pornography. The punishment ranges from six months to twelve years in prison. After officially becoming suspects, Gisella Anastasia and Nobu have separately apologized.
