Mpok Atiek, a senior Indonesian comedian and actress, recently expressed her gratitude after being declared completely healed from the intestinal tumor she suffered from. Mpok Atiek chose alternative treatment methods due to the trauma she experienced after losing her mother, who passed away after undergoing a similar surgery.
Mpok Atiek expressed a fear of surgery. This is because her mother passed away due to colon cancer surgery.
"Alhamdulillah now everything is healed, alhamdulillah. Yesterday I was suffering from colon tumor since June 2023," said Mpok Atiek as reported by detikhot.
The results of the ultrasound examination showed significant progress, where the polyp in her intestines has shrunk, providing new hope for Mpok Atiek's health.
"Indeed, her stomach was uncomfortable. In short, she went to the doctor, and during the endoscopy, the tumor disease was discovered. Alhamdulillah, she is healed now," she continued.
"Coincidentally, in this alternative treatment, I can eat anything, as long as I diligently go for treatment. Three times a week for check-ups. The medicine is a happy heart, thoughts should not be strange, do not envy, be jealous, so that one can be healthy," she concluded.
