Need Money, Syakir Daulay Signs a Contract Unknowingly with Many Detrimental Anomalies!

Syakir's legal representative, Harris Azhar, then revealed the details of the contract violations that Syakir signed regarding the buying and selling of YouTube accounts. Based on these details, Syakir's side may file a counter-report and lawsuit. Here are the details of the violations.

"It can be said that they are looking for trouble. In fact, we are grateful that they have brought this to light, as it has made Syakir aware of the injustice he has experienced repeatedly from various aspects. We will demand accountability for the losses created, exploitation of underage children," said Harris Azhar during a press conference in the Antasari area, South Jakarta, on Saturday (9/5/2020).

1. Not Old Enough

The first violation is regarding the title and content of the sales contract that do not match. Then the second is about Syakir Daulay's age, which turns out to be still underage when signing the document.

"Regarding the first violation, the contract title and content do not match. The second violation is when making the contract, especially the first one, Syakir was still underage. So automatically the contract fails. The second contract was made by Syakir two months after reaching adulthood," explained Harris.

2. Not With Parents

When signing the contract, Syakir Daulay, who is still underage, was not accompanied by an adult or his parents. Furthermore, the original contract document was only given three weeks ago, long after the signing.

"When signing, Syakir was not with a guardian. Because besides talking to Syakir, it is also based on the fact with the family. Then the person who signs the contract will receive the original copy. But the family only received it on April 14, even though the contract was made since February 7, 2020," continued Harris.

3. Lifetime Contract

Apart from the violation, there is an element of injustice in the contract. Where Syakir Daulay is bound for a lifetime and is not allowed to work with third parties.

"There is an injustice point. In law, there is something called injustice in position and situation. Well, Syakir with the party in the contract has injustice in the situation. It's not just about agreeing and signing, the agreement is valid for a lifetime. It can't be, the agreement has a time limit, not for a lifetime, because what is promised is not permanent. So it's funny that the contract is for a lifetime. Then Syakir is not allowed to compromise with any third party," explained Harris.

4. Unable to Demand

Another point of injustice is that Syakir Daulay does not have the right to claim compensation. So if there is a problem, he is not entitled to demand.

"Then about compensation, in an agreement there must be rights and obligations, if one party fails to fulfill them, the injured party demands compensation. Well, in this contract it only applies to that party, not Syakir. So if Syakir is harmed, he does not have the facility to demand," said Harris.

5. Need Money

When signing the contract, Syakir Daulay admitted that he needed money. So he didn't read the contract content in detail, which turned out to have many peculiarities.

"I was indeed desperate, not accompanied by anyone (when signing)," said Syakir.
