There is something different about Nia Ramadhani. The actress who once went viral for not being able to peel salak is now enjoying her new hobby, which is cooking. This change comes as she adopts a new lifestyle that involves spending more time in Singapore.

Nia shares that she now often lives in Singapore to accompany her second son, Mainaka Zanatti Bakrie. To fill her free time in a foreign country, she has decided to start testing her skills in the kitchen.

Although claiming to still be in the learning stage, Nia's cooking has already managed to win the hearts of her children. Her youngest son, Magika, even enthusiastically praised the sauce made by mom.

"Oh this. When I was there, I went to Singapore and mom made a sauce that was, you know, delicious," Magika exclaimed when met in the area of Jalan Kapten Tendean, Mampang, South Jakarta, Tuesday (23/10/2025).

Hearing the sincere praise from her child, Nia Ramadhani could only laugh. She found it amusing because she believes that whatever she cooks will always be said to be delicious by her children.

"Oh really? Whatever I cook, they say, 'Mom is so good,' while, well, it's just okay, yeah, whatever. Delicious, yes, okay then," Nia replied with a smile.

Magika also mentioned that one of her favorite dishes made by her mom is kebab. "Kebab, that mom made, right?" she asked Nia.

Nia emphasized that her cooking activities are purely to fill her time and not due to pressure from anyone. For her, this is one of the positive activities she can do while living abroad.

"No, just to fill my time. Filling time eventually leads to learning to cook because I am living in a foreign country. So it's just filling my activities," she concluded.
