"Because when we create skincare or any product, we go through BPOM, you know. If BPOM does not want to be present, then there’s no need for BPOM, just disband it," she exclaimed.

The head of BPOM, Taruna Ikrar, stated that the state agency cannot fulfill personal requests. Nikita hopes that next week BPOM can keep its promise and provide neutral testimony in front of the court. Their presence, Nikita said, is a must.

"Hopefully they come, they must come. Because BPOM is neutral, it must be neutral," she concluded.
