In Issa's night routine, the first step taken is a warm bath one hour before bedtime. According to Nikita, warm water helps gradually lower the child's body temperature after a day of activities. "After bathing, Issa always looks calmer, making it a bonding moment that also makes it easier to invite him to sleep," she wrote.

Next, Nikita Willy ensures that the bedtime is at least 10 hours, with a total daily sleep reaching 11 hours. She also added that the ideal sleep duration for children can be monitored through the Tentang Anak app, which she often uses to ensure Issa's sleep pattern meets his developmental needs.

In that post, Nikita also mentioned the administration of Vitamin D as part of Issa's night routine. This vitamin helps regulate the child's natural sleep hormones. "Vitamin D receptors in the brain help regulate melatonin production, the hormone that makes children sleepy quickly and sleep more soundly," she revealed.

The next step is a gentle massage before bedtime. Nikita uses a cream that contains lavender and eucalyptus because both ingredients are believed to help achieve a deeper sleep and facilitate the child's breathing.

According to Nikita, the latest bedtime for Issa is 8 PM. "After that time, the child's stress hormone levels usually increase and make them even more active. After that hour, the child's stress hormones start to rise. Usually, they become more active even though their bodies are already tired," she explained.
