Not Because of Covid-19, This is the Cause of Eko Patrio's Father's Death

Kapanlagi.com - Deep condolences are felt by the family of comedian Eko Patrio. This is because his father, Sumarsono Mulyo, passed away on Friday (2/7) afternoon.

When met after the funeral of his father at TPU Layur, Penggilingan, East Jakarta, on Friday night (2/7), Eko Patrio explained the cause of his father's death. The 50-year-old comedian said that his father initially fell and was taken to the hospital, then the disease started to spread, and finally his father suffered from Parkinson's disease.

"Three years ago it was my mother, now it's my father. They have been suffering from prolonged illnesses. At first, he just fell after sweeping, suddenly fell, then he felt uncomfortable in his waist and was taken to the hospital, suddenly it spread to the lungs and heart," said Eko Patrio.

"And finally, Parkinson's disease continued to be treated for two weeks, then returned and was treated again at RS Jakarta Utara for two weeks and recovered, then suddenly left us last Friday," he continued.

Eko Patrio also confirmed that his late father passed away at home, not at the hospital. Not only that, Eko also explained that his father's death was not due to exposure to the Covid-19 virus.

"So my father left us not in the hospital but at home with old age and Parkinson's disease. After being examined by a doctor, it was not Covid but indeed an old age disease," he said.

2. Over 80 Years Old

In addition, Eko Patrio stated that his father passed away at the age of over 80 years old. He also asked for forgiveness for any mistakes his father may have made.

"His age on the ID card is 75 but in reality, he was over 80 years old, as he was from a different era. So once again, I apologize if there are any friends or acquaintances of my father, please forgive any mistakes," he concluded.
