Now Married, Venna Melinda Admits That Fasting and Eid This Year Have More Meaning

Kapanlagi.com - This year's Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr felt different for Venna Melinda as she has shed her single status. Married to Ferry Irawan, this time Venna can go through Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr with her husband.

Venna herself admitted that she and Ferry could only truly experience dating after getting married. The Ramadan moment was also used by both of them to get closer to God.

"We only felt like dating after getting married. There are many voluntary prayers taught by my husband. The program is every Thursday I am taught to recite the Quran from the beginning with Vania," said Venna Melinda when met in the Kemang area, South Jakarta not long ago.

1. Less Sleep Time

Although he has had less sleep time, Ferry is grateful for all the blessings he has received from God. Especially regarding health that he can now feel.

"During this fasting, sleep is very limited. Sometimes two hours, three hours at most. I sleep a little in the morning after taking Vania. Thank God for the greatest blessings, God gave health," said Ferry.

2. Grateful for Healthy Husband

Venna Melinda is also happy to see her husband who has now recovered from the illness he used to suffer from. Her gratitude increased because with Ferry's good health, they can help each other with household matters.

"Alhamdulillah, because as husband and wife we are now at a point where there are no more demanding things, you as a husband should be like this. The important thing is that he recovers first, alhamdulillah he has recovered now. Even he can help me take care of Vania, we can earn money together, alhamdulillah he is not sick," said Venna.

3. Increase Worship

During last Ramadan, Ferry tried to bring his wife and child closer to God. This is what finally made Venna Melinda feel that this year's Ramadan and Eid were more meaningful.

"For the last 10 nights, I have been reading Surah Al-Qadr more. Well, I taught him. I always place myself not as smarter but we learn together," explained Ferry Irawan.

"So this Eid is more meaningful," said the mother of three.
