Objection Note Rejected, Vicky Prasetyo VS Angel Lelga Case Continues

Kapanlagi.com - The panel of judges rejected the objection or exception note from the defendant Vicky Prasetyo in the case of alleged defamation and slander against Angel Lelga. The rejection of Vicky Prasetyo's exception by the panel of judges in the trial held at the South Jakarta District Court, Jalan Ampera Raya, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (12/8) with the agenda of an interim decision.

"Adjudicating, rejecting the exception of the defendant Vicky Prasetyo bin Hermanto as a whole," said the Chairman of the panel of judges.

In his exception, Vicky Prasetyo stated that he objected to the allegations made by the Public Prosecutor in several points. Among them, the mistake of writing the time of the incident or the time frame, and considering that he did not broadcast the raid on Angel Lelga's house.

"Requesting the public prosecutor to proceed to the next agenda of the trial," said the panel of judges.

1. Paying Case Costs

Then, the judge asked the defendant Vicky Prasetyo to pay the case costs determined in the court's decision later.

"The decision considers from the trial facts that the Public Prosecutor's indictment is in accordance with the applicable law," said the Chairman of the Panel of Judges.

2. Report Vicky to the Jakarta Metro Police

Previously reported, Angel Lelga reported Vicky Prasetyo to the Jakarta Metro Police regarding the raid incident carried out by her husband at her residence in 2018. In that incident, Vicky Prasetyo raided Angel Lelga's residence, considering that Angel was still his wife at that time, allegedly committing adultery with a man named Fiki Alman.

Vicky is charged with multiple articles including the ITE Law and the Criminal Code, with a series of articles 45 paragraph (3) juncto Article 36 juncto Article 27 paragraph (3) of the ITE Law, as well as Article 311 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code and Article 335 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code.
