Despite Being in Detention, Vicky Prasetyo Doesn't Lose His Job as a TV Presenter

Kapanlagi.com - Vicky Prasetyo is currently detained at Salemba Detention Center in Jakarta. The presenter, born in Bekasi, is being held in connection with a case of alleged defamation reported by his ex-wife, Angel Lelga.

Because he is behind bars, Vicky is unable to carry out his usual activities. Normally, he appears on a television program.

Although Vicky is imprisoned, his younger brother, Beby Prasetyo, is grateful because his brother still receives support from the television station that he hosts. His younger brother said that the television station has found a temporary replacement for Vicky Prasetyo to cope with his absence.

"Yes, thank God, the TV station still supports him. Just relax, it's like saying, 'We'll wait for Vicky. There are some live programs that need to continue, so Vicky will be replaced for now.' That's the idea. But, thank God, the TV station supports him," said Beby Prasetyo after the trial at the South Jakarta District Court on Wednesday (5/8).

1. Vicky Prasetyo Disappointed as Exception Rejected by the Prosecutor

Meanwhile, at the trial held at the South Jakarta District Court on Wednesday (5/8) yesterday, the prosecutor rejected the exception and maintained their charges.

In the same trial, Vicky Prasetyo expressed his disappointment as being in custody prevented him from fulfilling his duties as the head of the family.

"I am the head of the family who has to fulfill all the needs of my family. I have to provide for my six children," said Vicky.

2. Still Hoping

Nevertheless, Vicky is trying to accept his current condition. He only hopes to be given justice regarding the alleged defamation case that has ensnared him.

"But I know the consequences now that I am a detainee at the South Jakarta District Prosecutor's Office. I only ask for genuine justice in this case," said Vicky.
