Aida Saskia Reports a Case of Assault on Her Cousin, Beaten Until Bruised on the Face and Received Threats

"I made a report and a police report regarding the assault on my own sister, who is a fellow woman, and I have also experienced violence so I can't accept it," said Aida Saskia at the South Jakarta Police Station on Wednesday (29/7/2020).

1. Chronology of Events

The incident started when Aida's cousin was in Senopati, South Jakarta with her friends. Noha accompanied her female friend who caught her husband with another woman.

"My friend asked me, 'Is my husband there?', 'Yes'. So I went there. Then suddenly, I don't know why, I was downstairs, my friend was crying. We walked to the car. Suddenly, we turned around at the location where I was earlier in Senopati Gunawarman. She was followed by her husband's car until Cassagrande apartment," explained Noha.

2. Beaten Until Bruised

Meanwhile, the beating incident occurred when Noha was in the Casagrande apartment in South Jakarta. As a result of the incident, Noha's face was bruised from being hit by a man with the initials AT, who is suspected to be her friend's husband.

"Kicked in the face, bruised," said Noha.

3. Aida Saskia's Cousin Threatened

After the incident of assault, Aida Saskia's cousin experienced deep trauma. Moreover, in addition to the assault, Noha also received threats from AT's side.

"Continuously threatened by the driver, his assistant. 'You should just leave from here before your face gets more destroyed', the threat. So physically and psychologically damaged because for several days he didn't want to go out because he was afraid of being threatened," Aida Saskia concluded.
