In the trial, the Prosecutor responded to Vicky Prasetyo's exception read by his legal representative, Ramdan Alamsyah. However, the Prosecutor rejected Vicky Prasetyo's exception because it is considered to have no legal basis.
"I am a husband seeking justice. I married Angel Lelga legally according to religion and state law," said Vicky Prasetyo, while attending the virtual trial.
According to him, the raid conducted at Angel Lelga's house in November 2018 and reported in an infotainment program was done to reveal the household's misconduct. As a husband, Vicky felt that his wife's behavior was inappropriate and crossed the line.
"I conducted the raid at that time to save my marriage. As the head of the family, I did not justify my wife's behavior at that time," said Vicky.

With that reason, Vicky Prasetyo hopes to obtain justice during his trial. He also requests leniency in the legal process with the suspension of his detention.
"As a husband at that time, I stood up to reveal the truth in my marriage. Once again, as the head of the family who has to fulfill all the family's needs, I have to provide for my six children," said Vicky.
He realizes that he is currently a detainee entrusted to the South Jakarta Prosecutor's Office in Salemba Detention Center, Central Jakarta. Vicky Prasetyo also requests to be brought to the courtroom so that he can attend his trial directly.
