Officially Released From Prison Today, Jeff Smith Deliberately Didn't Inform His Family

Kapanlagi.com - After being arrested by the West Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Unit at his management basecamp in the Jagakarsa area, South Jakarta some time ago, actor Jeff Smith can finally breathe fresh air. As of today, Tuesday (14/9), Jeff Smith is officially released from prison after serving a five-month sentence.

His lawyer, Aldy Surya, said that Jeff is currently on his way home. Aldy also mentioned that Jeff Smith intentionally did not inform his family about his release today.

"So basically, Jeff didn't want to tell his parents first because he wanted to surprise them," said Aldy Surya, Jeff Smith's lawyer when contacted by phone on Tuesday (14/9).

"He is currently on his way," he added.

1. Unable to Confirm Announcement in Front of Media

Jeff's lawyer also said that when he arrives home, his client will likely spend a lot of time with his family first. He cannot confirm whether the 23-year-old man will officially announce his freedom in front of the media.

"I don't know about tomorrow either. Maybe Jeff wants to be homesick at home or something. I'll ask Jeff Smith first," he said.

2. Not in Good Condition

In addition, Aldy also revealed a little about Jeff Smith's condition when he was released from prison. Apparently, Jeff Smith is currently not in good condition and needs rest after taking a swab.

"He is not fit. That's why he needs to go home. I also want to recommend a swab test to him in case anything happens," he added.
