Igun said that the desire to open this beauty business has been planned since the end of 2019. Because there was not enough preparation, including employees and location, Igun finally inaugurated his business on November 4, 2020.

"Actually, this was planned before the pandemic. But, the renovation just finished maybe a month ago. So, now we have employees. The salon is quite complete, from hair wash, hair coloring, manicure pedicure, eyebrow embroidery, and everything else," said Ivan Gunawan on Trans TV, recently.

For Igun, opening a business during a pandemic certainly has its own challenges. One thing is certain, by opening a beauty business, the 38-year-old man indirectly provides job opportunities for people who have expertise in that field.

"For me, the challenge is that I want to create new job opportunities for friends who are affected by the pandemic, and, well, let's just say, in the name of God. Even though everything is not with extraordinary capital, but at least we are trying to survive in the midst of the pandemic," said Ivan Gunawan.

In addition, Ivan Gunawan said that opening the 'Ivan Gunawan Hair & Make Up Studio' business is one of his dreams that has finally come true.
