Participating in Creating the Song 'Mungkinkah', Irwan Stinky Mentions that Ndank Surahman is Not Serious in Sending a Legal Notice

Kapanlagi.com - Irwan Batara, the bassist of the band Stinky, does not want to respond seriously to the legal notice sent by his former band member, Ndank Surahman. Therefore, Stinky will still perform the song 'Mungkinkah' and is not worried that Ndank will take legal action.

Because he considers Ndank's legal notice to be joking. Moreover, the song 'Mungkinkah' was not only created by Ndank, but also by himself.

"No, I'm not afraid or worried, how can I be legally noticed for my own song? Secondly, the legal notice seems like a joke. It's strange that it went viral, even though I thought it was just a joke," said Irwan at Rumah Goa, Ciputat, Tangerang, on Tuesday (2/1/2024).

1. Not Accompanied by a Lawyer

Irwan assessed that Ndank was not serious because he made a summons without being accompanied by a lawyer.

"Because if a summons is accompanied by a lawyer, but this is just alone. If there is no lawyer, who can believe," he said.

2. Reasons Behind the Summons

Until now, Irwan does not know exactly why Ndank suddenly made a video summons prohibiting Stinky and Andre Taulany from performing the songs 'Mungkinkah' and 'Jangan Tutup Dirimu' which Ndank claimed to be his work.

"When he uploaded the video, we were removed from his Instagram friends, so we didn't know the news. When we found out, I immediately chatted with Ndank in Sundanese, what is this? (what's going on?). But he just read it, and didn't reply," said Irwan.

3. Open Prohibition Video

As is known, Ndank Surahman on December 30, 2023, through a video uploaded via his social media, banned Stinky and Andre Taulany from performing his songs, such as 'Mungkinkah' and 'Jangan Tutup Dirimu'.

"I made an open prohibition video or summons to let many parties know that starting today, I strongly forbid Stinky and Andre Taulany from performing my songs like 'Mungkinkah', 'Jangan Tutup Dirimu', and others until an undetermined time," he said.

4. Will Bring to Legal Realm

If violated, Ndank will not hesitate to bring the matter to the legal realm.

"Myself and my legal counsel will continue to report the prohibition of the use of my songs by Stinky and Andre Taulany to the Jakarta Metro Police," said Ndank.
