Paula Verhoeven's legal team, Alvon Kurnia Palma and Siti Aminah, visited the Judicial Commission (KY) on Monday (5/5/2025). They came with two main agendas related to the divorce ruling of their client with Baim Wong at the South Jakarta Religious Court.
The second agenda directly relates to the examination concerning the trial process. According to Alvon, the examination also includes matters outside the courtroom. Here are the details.
"The point is that we are indeed requesting two agendas. The first is related to the audience to present what our concerns are in the trial process, the materials during the trial itself," said Alvon Kurnia at the Judicial Commission, Central Jakarta, on Monday (5/5/2025).

"Well, here we suspect that there is an alleged violation of the code of ethics. That is our request," Alvon continued.
"Then the second agenda is related to the examination. This examination is related to the facts during the trial or also outside the trial, which are related to the alleged violation of the code of ethics," he said.

"Actually, this is very much related to whether it concerns the code of ethics and also related to the alleged violation of procedural law. So, those are the two things we are stressing," he stated.

"We do assert that there are allegations related to the issue of unfair treatment towards us, from the legal counsel during the trial process. Then, the second allegation is about unprofessionalism in the trial examination and then, regarding the alleged discretion," he explained.

"Then it will be reinforced with anything related to how judges actually examine a case when there is a woman involved. This is related to Supreme Court Regulation Number 3 of 2017 concerning guidelines for the examination of cases involving women facing the law," said Alvon.
