Performing a Possession Scene in Her First Horror Film, Yasmin Napper Admits Difficulty - Afraid of Being Possessed by a Real Demon!

Kapanlagi.com - Yasmin Napper and Arbani Yasiz star in a film titled THAGHUT directed by Bobby Prasetyo. Interestingly, this marks the first time for both of them to be involved in a horror genre project.

Therefore, before shooting began, Bobby informed Yasmin and Arbani to prepare themselves. Acting in a horror film is different from drama genres.

"Because Bani and Yasmin are doing horror for the first time, I told them that horror might be more exhausting physically and mentally. Whatever it is, let's make the shooting enjoyable," said Bobby when met at Epicentrum XXI, Rasuna Said area, South Jakarta, Thursday (15/8/2024).

1. Possession Scene Practice

In a separate interview session, Yasmin Napper admitted that she felt challenged when performing the possession scene. Because it was her first time doing such a scene and it wasn't an easy task.

"The hardest part was the possession scene. Since it was my very first time, I needed to practice with an acting coach to figure out how to portray possession," said Giorgino Abraham's girlfriend.

2. Fear of Real Possession

For the possession scene in the film THAGHUT, Yasmin Napper took the time to watch several videos for inspiration. With a smile, she admitted she was scared of being truly possessed by a real spirit.

"I watched some possession videos with my acting coach. We looked at which ones could serve as inspiration. I did feel like, 'Oh no, if I delve too deeply, will I actually get possessed for real, right?'. But we are filming without offerings and such, so it’s all safe," Yasmin concluded.
