Lifted From a Viral Story in 2016, the Film 'DOSEN GHAIB' Will Soon be Released in Theaters

Kapanlagi.com - Following the success of SIKSA NERAKA and VINA: SEBELUM 7 HARI which attracted millions of viewers, Dee Company production house is ready to present their latest film. This time titled DOSEN GHAIB which is based on a viral horror story from 2016.

To satisfy the curiosity of the audience, Dee Company released a trailer that lasts less than two minutes. It shows how terrifying a cane-wielding lecturer who terrorizes a group of students on a campus.

1. Deliver a Strong Message

Dheeraj Kalwani, the producer, was interested in adapting the viral story of a supernatural lecturer into a film because the issues raised are relevant to the present time. He also didn't just present the horror, but also delivered a strong message about education.

"We want to make a film that resonates with students' beliefs about supernatural lecturers. But as with the function of education, this film certainly embeds a strong message," said Dheeraj, as quoted from a text message received by KapanLagi.com on Friday (19/7/2024).

2. Join Short Semester Class

DOSEN GHAIB directed by Guntur Soeharjanto based on the screenplay by Evelyn Afnilia. This film tells the story of four students who take a short semester class to improve their grades.

However, the class becomes a terrifying experience for Amelia, Emir, Maya, and Fattah when they try to leave the class. Instead, they encounter terror from a frightening lecturer. Curious? The film will be released in theaters starting from August 15, 2024!
