Police Investigate Nindy Ayunda's Involvement in Askara Harsono's Case

Kapanlagi.com - West Jakarta Metro Police investigators are still investigating indications of singer Nindy Ayunda involvement in her husband's drug abuse case, Askara Parasady Harsono. Nindy was interrogated on Tuesday (19/1/2021).

"(Indications of Nindy's involvement) We are still investigating, later we will discuss with the investigators to see which direction the investigation is heading," said West Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Unit Chief Kompol Ronaldo Maradona.

Ronaldo said that the examination of Nindy was also conducted regarding the possibility of the singer knowing about Askara's drug abuse.

"Because in the context of drug users, I have to investigate, and those who know must report to the authorities according to the law," he said.

2. Nindy Can Be Prosecuted

If Nindy is proven to have knowledge of her husband's drug abuse but fails to report it, according to Article 131 of Law No. 35 of 2009 on narcotics, Nindy could be subject to legal action.

"So we have to investigate this case because we have to find evidence in accordance with the formula of the narcotics law and the psychotropic law, only then can this narcotics case have sufficient evidence or not. Therefore, we need time for further investigation and will inform you about the progress of the case," he said.
