Portrait of Fachri Albar's First Appearance After Being Arrested by the Police, Declared Positive for Drug Use

Today, Fachri Albar appeared for the first time in front of the media after being arrested by the police for alleged drug use. Wearing a gray hoodie, Fachri covered his face with the hood and a mask. Throughout the press conference held at the Metro Jaya Police Headquarters, he only looked down and did not speak, Wednesday, (23/4).

The police have conducted a urine test on the 43-year-old actor. The urine test was conducted after the arrest to ensure whether he had recently used drugs. The examination process took place at the West Jakarta Metro Police.

"The urine test was declared positive for the consumption of several types of narcotics," revealed AKP Avrilendy Akmam Ajie Sulistyo, Deputy Head of the Narcotics Unit at the West Jakarta Metro Police, when met on Wednesday (23/4/2025).

Although the urine test results have shown positive, the police have not yet disclosed in detail the evidence found during the arrest of Fachri. Complete information will be revealed in a press conference.

"The type and amount of evidence will be fully disclosed tomorrow morning at the press conference," said AKP Avrilendy.

The police stated that they are still investigating this case further, including the motive and Fachri's role in the alleged drug abuse. "We are still looking into that," continued AKP Avrilendy when asked about the reasons for Fachri's involvement in a similar case again.

As is known, Fachri was previously arrested in 2018 with evidence of meth, dumolid, and marijuana. He then underwent rehabilitation at RSKO Cibubur for seven months.

Being caught up in a similar case again has made the public question the rehabilitation process that Fachri underwent and how he became involved in drug entanglement again.

Although confronted by reporters, Fachri did not say a word. He just bowed his head and tightly covered his face from the media camera's glare.
