Portrait of Fairuz A Rafiq Crying Deceiving King Faaz Regarding Sonny Septian's Illness Which Turned Out to Be Worse

Fairuz A Rafiq shared a touching story about her son, King Faaz Arafiq, who came to the hospital when his stepfather, Sonny Septian, underwent surgery due to a narrowing of blood vessels in the brain on Friday, July 26, 2024. King Faaz initially did not know that his stepfather's condition was quite serious, as Fairuz only mentioned that Sonny was suffering from diarrhea.

When he arrived at the hospital, King Faaz was shocked to find that his stepfather was not in the room. Fairuz explained that Sonny was in the operating room. When he met Fairuz in the waiting room, King Faaz kept asking about his stepfather's whereabouts.

This is a touching portrait when Fairuz couldn't hold back her tears while telling about her son's concern for her husband!

"Well, when my brother came here, the operation was on Friday. When he arrived, coincidentally, his daddy was already not in the room. So, he was already in the operating room and I met him in the waiting room," said Fairuz A Rafiq at Abdi Waluyo Hospital, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (31/7/2024).

Fairuz also tried to calm King Faaz by saying that his father was being treated, without explaining further about Sonny's actual condition.

"So he asked, 'Where's Daddy, Mom? Where's Daddy?,' he said. Then while he was being treated, I said that. I still felt like I didn't want to tell him, you know, it's too heavy to explain to him what he was suffering from," she said.

After the operation was completed, the doctor explained Sonny's health situation in front of King Faaz. Fairuz saw her son very sad and disappointed because he had not been informed beforehand.

"Then when the doctor came out, the doctor explained like this and that, it turned out he was right next to me. When he was next to me, he immediately pouted, like, 'Mom, why didn't you tell me?" said Fairuz.

She felt very shocked because she had previously planned to take Sonny to watch the movie Detective Conan at the cinema after returning from the hospital. Fairuz admitted she did not want to worry her children about Sonny's health condition.

"He seemed very sad, like he was already crying. Even though before that he had said, 'Yay, daddy is coming home.' He thought that he was picking daddy up from the hospital that Friday, and he even said he wanted to take daddy to the movies just the two of them, he said that, right?" she said.

"I have to be able to divide my tasks like that. As a mother for them, where they don't have to think about what I believe they shouldn't worry about, and I just want them to be fine at school like children who have no problems, things they don't need to know," she said.

King Faaz was very shocked to see his stepfather in the ICU. He even expressed his disbelief seeing Sonny needing to be hospitalized in the ICU. "But it turns out I didn't know his reaction at that time which made me sad because I didn't know their connection was that close. He was very sad to see his daddy like that, like he couldn't accept it," he said, then cried.

Fairuz acknowledged that the moment made him realize how close the relationship between King Faaz and Sonny was. "Until he went down the elevator by himself like 'ah, whatever' (pouting). He saw his daddy's condition in the ICU and was still shocked, 'Why is he in the ICU? How did he end up in the ICU?',' he concluded.

"He even said something like that. I said daddy is fine now, just for a moment, just for a moment, so the process is really fast, I was also like 'how could it be' right. With a big heart, I don’t want to look up," he concluded.
