Mirjeta, a young influencer of Indonesian and Swiss descent, often goes viral because of her ability to speak Javanese with a strong accent and in the Kediri style, her mother's hometown, Arsy. KapanLagi.com had the opportunity to interview Mirjeta and her mother when they returned to their hometown.

Let's take a look at beautiful photos of Mire, Mirjeta's nickname, along with some of the things she likes.

This interview with Mire and her mother was conducted in Indonesian and Javanese. Mire was accompanied and guided by her mother in answering the questions.

Mbak Arsy, Mire's mother, shared that she has been speaking Javanese to her daughter since she was still in the womb. When Mire was born, Arsy cradled her daughter while speaking Javanese. Arsy's decision to teach her daughter Javanese was so that there would be someone to talk to in Switzerland. And the first Javanese word that Mire said was 'moh'.

Besides being able to speak Javanese and Indonesian, Mire can also speak German, Swiss (similar to German), English, a little French, Albanian, and Macedonian. In her daily life, Mire most often speaks Javanese and German.

In addition to languages, Mire also has a Javanese and European palate. For Indonesian food, she likes fried rice, rendang, chicken soto, meatballs, spinach, and tofu. Arsy also often cooks Indonesian or Swiss specialties.

When she is in Indonesia, the things Mire misses most from Switzerland are her favorite chocolate, bread filled with ovomaltine, and potato chips from a brand that is not available in Indonesia.

But when she is in Switzerland, Mire admits that she misses her family (father, mother, aunt, uncle, and cousins) in Indonesia and of course the food here. Mire also enjoys riding rickshaws and motorcycles. While walking around in Kediri, Mire was often asked to take photos together.

When asked if Mire likes listening to songs by Indonesian singers, she admitted that she likes the song Kembang Wangi by Happy Asmara and that it is her favorite song. Besides that, she also listens to songs by Denny Caknan.

When asked about her dreams, Mire answered that she wants to be a flight attendant and a police officer. She wants to be a flight attendant so she can travel around the world. Mire wants to go to the Netherlands, Korea, Dubai, England, Thailand, and even Saudi Arabia. As for being a police officer, Mire said that when she grows up, she can catch robbers.

<nil>

Another unique fact about Mire is that she admitted to being afraid of sleeping alone and has to sleep with her mom. Arsy said that Mire has to touch her mom while sleeping. If she doesn't touch her mom, she won't be able to sleep.

Thank you to Mire and Mami Arsy for being willing to chat with KapanLagi.com. Wishing you health and happiness always!
