"Initially, we had agreed with Atta and Aurel to go to London. Everything was prepared. Then on Thursday before departure, we met with someone close to the Embassy. He said, 'Don't go to London anymore. Just go for Hajj, I will give you the visa tomorrow,'" said Habib Usman when met at his residence in Cipete area, South Jakarta, on Thursday (20/6/2024).

Of course Kartika Putri and Habib Usman Bin Yahya didn't believe it right away. But after they were explained, both of them immediately prepared everything to be able to go to the Holy Land.

"At first we didn't believe it. It seemed impossible to get a visa quickly. 'Indonesia still has a lot of remaining quota', he said. Finally, on Friday we took care of it right away," said Kartika.

Habib Usman Bin Yahya revealed doubts about going on Hajj. But seeing Kartika Putri's enthusiasm, he also became enthusiastic.

"At that time, I didn't have the intention. Maybe I went because I accompanied my wife. When the visa was issued, I thanked Allah, prostrated in gratitude. On Monday we looked for a hotel ourselves, looked for (plane) tickets ourselves, everything was not prepared yet," explained Habib Usman.

With tears in her eyes, Kartika Putri expressed her gratitude to Habib Usman Bin Yahya for performing the hajj on behalf of her deceased mother. It made her feel thankful to have found such a kind partner.

"Thank you, Habib, for sincerely performing the hajj on behalf of Mama. May Allah reward Habib's kindness. May Mama find happiness in this world and the hereafter. Mama must be proud now because in addition to performing the hajj, Habib also sacrificed the biggest cow for her. Mama has been substituted by her son-in-law, making me return from hajj with even more love," Kartika said.
