Pierre Gruno was named a suspect on Thursday, July 13, 2023. The police named him a suspect because they already had two pieces of evidence.

"The suspect has been named based on our evidence," said the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of South Jakarta Metropolitan Police, Commissioner Irwandhy, on Friday (7/14/2023).

2. Detained for 20 Days

The police will detain Pierre for the next 20 days while waiting for the case file to be declared complete by the Prosecutor's Office to be brought to trial.

"According to articles 20 and 21 of the criminal procedure law, starting from today until the next 20 days, we will detain suspect PG," said Irwandhy.

For your information, Pierre Gruno was reported by a man with the initials GDS to the South Jakarta Metropolitan Police on July 13, 2023, under Article 351 of the Criminal Code regarding assault.
