Undergoing Examination, Marlina Octoria Answered 22 Questions and Presented Evidence of Alleged Sexual Violence by Mansyardin Malik

Kapanlagi.com - Marlina Octoria underwent examination at the Jakarta Metro Police related to her report against Taqy Malik's father, Mansyardin Malik, on Monday (10/4/2021). Marlina, who arrived around 11:00 AM accompanied by her legal counsel, came out of the Directorate of General Crime Investigation Building of the Jakarta Metro Police around 4:00 PM. During the five-hour examination, Marlina was bombarded with 22 questions regarding the chronology of the sexual misconduct committed by her former husband.

"Our presence is related to the invitation to provide Examination Report as the complainant. Our client was asked 22 questions regarding the chronology of the incidents she experienced," said Ery Kartanegara, Marlina's legal counsel. Marlina Octoria reported Mansyardin Malik to the Jakarta Metro Police on charges of domestic violence. The aftermath of the report is related to the alleged sexual misconduct committed by Mansyardin against Marlina.

Not without reason, Marlina's decision to report Mansyardin is also based on the physical impact experienced by Marlina. Based on the results of the medical examination, Marlina suffered significant damage to her vital body parts due to the alleged sexual misconduct during her marriage to Taqy Malik's father. Suddenly appearing in public, Marlina revealed her traditional marriage with Mansyardin Malik since July 19, 2021, and claimed to have experienced unusual treatment.

1. Divorced and Reported Back

Previously, their household turmoil escalated after Mansyardin divorced Marlina in the midst of his ongoing case. It wasn't an ordinary divorce letter, Marlina claimed to have only received a photocopy of the divorce letter sent by a courier. A surprising confession came from Marlina, who admitted that she did not receive a divorce pronouncement from Mansyardin Malik.

Feeling defamed, Mansyardin Malik retaliated by reporting his former wife to the police under Article 310 of the Indonesian Criminal Code (KUHP) and Article 311 of the KUHP for alleged defamation and violations of the Information and Electronic Transactions Law (UU ITE). The report was received with case number LP/B/4698/IX/2021/SPKT/POLDA METRO JAYA, dated September 21, 2021. Marlina's representative, Sunan Kalijaga, confirmed this information. They also expressed disappointment with Mansyardin's actions, considering it an attempt to silence Marlina, who dared to reveal the truth.

Continuing with Marlina's report, in addition to undergoing an Examination Report (BAP), Marlina also came to provide several pieces of evidence to strengthen her report. Through her lawyer, the evidence presented by Marlina to the investigator is the chat or conversation between Marlina and Mansyardin.

"There are several pieces of evidence that we are currently submitting, namely client's chat between the defendant and the plaintiff," said Ery. Marlina, who claimed to have experienced deviant sexual behavior from Mansyardin Malik during their marriage, attempted to retaliate against her ex-husband by making a police report on September 21, 2021. Marlina Octaria reported Masyardin with the charges of Article 5 letter a, b, c juncto Article 44 paragraph (2) of Law Number 23 of 2004 concerning the Elimination of Domestic Violence.
