"Indeed, da'wah is not a profession, but it is a spirit. Da'wah is the spirit. We don’t seek to make a living from da'wah, but da'wah is the spirit," said Syakir Daulay during an interview at the Pagi-pagi Ambyar Studio on Trans TV on Friday (24/1/2025).
In an interview, Syakir explained that he is rearranging his life priorities, including his da'wah activities amidst his busy schedule in the entertainment world.
"Good, alhamdulillah I'm currently busy arranging music, films, and entertainment matters. Also off-air, and preaching as well. Everything is being organized from the beginning," he explained further.
He emphasized that preaching activities are not bound to specific times and places, and he is committed to conveying messages of goodness whenever there is an opportunity.
"Wherever we live, wherever my projects are, whether in entertainment or whatever, I find time for preaching, that's it," said the 23-year-old artist.
"If I really have a lot of free time, I go to more religious or spiritual events, that's it. But for me, preaching is a spirit, not a profession," he continued.
