The wedding ceremony took place solemnly with Javanese customs, where Valerie looked elegant in a champagne and white kebaya, while Andhika wore a beskap and blangkon.
This sacred moment was shared by Valerie through social media, complete with a touching message for her husband. "Alhamdulillah, In sacred whispers and solemn vows, we wove our forever beneath heaven’s gaze, two hearts, one soul, a love divinely blessed," she wrote on Saturday (3/4).
After the marriage vows, the couple showed their marriage certificate and placed rings on each other's ring fingers, then continued with a gesture of respect to their parents as a sign of devotion.
Valerie's wedding ceremony was rich with Javanese nuances. There is a tradition of feeding each other during the Javanese wedding ceremony known as dulang-dulangan.
Unlike the ceremony, at the reception, Valerie and Andhika looked elegant in internationally styled wedding attire. Valerie looked charming in a white dress.
The reception decoration was dominated by red, creating a luxurious and warm atmosphere in the hotel ballroom. Friends from the entertainment industry were present on Valerie's special day.
Not to be missed, there was also a sword ceremony at the reception of Iptu Mochammad Andhika. Now, Valerie has officially become Ibu Bhayangkari.
