Portrait of Vincent Verhaag Unveils the Process of Becoming an Indonesian Citizen, It's Not Difficult as Long as There Is Intent

Vincent Verhaag is now officially an Indonesian Citizen (WNI), a new status that he has fought for the sake of his future in the homeland. Behind his decision, many are curious about the administrative process he had to go through.

This husband of Jessica Iskandar is also not hesitant to share his experience. He dismisses the notion that managing the change of citizenship is a very complicated and impossible process.

According to him, all the procedures set by the government are actually very clear and directed. The key lies only in the willingness and seriousness of the applicant themselves.

"For example, we have to take care of the SKCK at the National Police Headquarters, yes there are stages to follow. Right, you really have to follow it. Then there is also a letter from Immigration, it's called SKIM, right, there is also a process for everything," he said.

The man, who is also a businessman, emphasizes that there are no shortcuts in this process. All stages must be followed according to the applicable rules.

"So if it's said to be difficult, it's not really, it depends on us. If we want to take care of it, we can. It goes back to us, whether we want to take care of it or not, that's how it is," he concluded.
