Praz Teguh Examined as a Witness in the Hanania Group Case, in the Same Room as Paula Verhoeven

Comedian Praz Teguh has just completed an intensive examination at the Metro Jaya Police on Thursday (11/6/2026). For about three hours, Praz provided testimony regarding his involvement with the umrah travel agency Hanania Group, which is suspected of committing fraud.

Praz explained that the investigators asked many questions about the chronology of his introduction to the agency until his departure to Mecca. He brought several pieces of evidence to supplement the information needed by the police.

In addition to providing verbal statements, Praz also submitted valid data regarding the time and number of people in the group he brought. The departure occurred at the beginning of 2026 before the agent encountered problems.

During the examination process inside the Ditreskrimum building, Praz was apparently not alone. He confirmed seeing another artist, namely Paula Verhoeven, who was also summoned by investigators for the same case.

"I don't really know about that, but for sure, Ms. Paula and I were in the same room earlier. That's all I know, there was Ms. Paula. There might be many others, but I don't know," said Praz.

Praz explained that his introduction to the Hanania Group began from a social relationship at his child's school. However, he emphasized that he does not know the owner of the travel agency closely.

"I don't know him closely, we only met about two times, right? Just two times. So that was the initial meeting to discuss the departure, and the second was for payment. That's it, we don't know each other at all, to be honest," he concluded.
