Presenting the AKSI Indosiar Event Without an Audience, Hosts Feel Difficult

Kapanlagi.com - Indosiar is once again presenting a special program Ramadan to accompany the sahur time, namely Akademi Sahur Indonesia (AKSI) 2020. This AKSI event is a routine program every Ramadan for talented young male and female preachers.

This year, Akademi Sahur Indonesia is very different from previous years. Due to the pandemic, AKSI 2020 participants will perform via video from their respective homes and will be judged directly by several jury members from the studio. There are 3 jury members who will be involved in AKSI 2020, namely Ustaz Subki Al Bughury, Ustaz Solmed, and Ustaz Taufiqurrahman.

1. Impact of Concept Changes

The concept changes of AKSI 2020 are not only felt by the judges and participants. The hosts also feel the same. Of course, this is very different from previous years. This time the hosts, like Ramzi, Abdel, and Lesti, presented the AKSI 2020 event without an audience.

"First of all, everyone involved, including the hosts, judges, and participants, certainly have their own level of difficulty, especially with this situation. If asked, personally, this has a lot of challenges, especially when we have to guide the event, an event with a religious nuance, like BerAKSI Di Rumah Saja," said Ramzi in a virtual press conference via the Zoom application, Tuesday (28/4/2020).

"It's different from when we tried and carried out events like LIDA 2020, LIDA Di Rumah Aja, which is essentially an entertainment event, even without an audience, even with a significantly reduced personnel or team every night, it's not a big problem. We can still laugh, joke around," continued Ramzi.

2. Quiet Without Audience Response

Similar to Ramzi, Abdeh Achian also experienced the same thing. Although he has hosted the show AKSI Indosiar several times, but this time the man who is familiarly called Cing Abdel felt difficulty when hosting the show BerAKSI Di Rumah Saja.

"Indeed, it becomes a constraint. Personally, we are assigned to enliven this show so that it still feels lively. But when there is an audience, we get more energy, the audience who laughs, applause, means they can respond to what we have given," said Abdel.

"BerAKSI Di Rumah Saja, it's not like that, maybe it is felt by everyone who attended the show. If the chemistry with Ramzi, Lesti, and the extraordinary judges becomes more compatible, maybe the constraint of no response can be minimized," Abdel continued.

3. New Host Available

Besides being without an audience, AKSI 2020 also presents a new host, namely Lesti Kejora. For the first time, Lesti is trusted to host the event that has been around since 2013.

"One thing for sure, this is an extraordinary experience for Dede, because it's the first time and when it was offered, I was still hesitant and scared. Eventually, a few days before fasting, while still shooting, Abi Ramzi asked 'so we will be on AKSI, right?' I said 'I don't know what to do yet, Bi' and finally Abu Ramzi gave suggestions," Lesti concluded.
