October 10th becomes a special day. Today is World Mental Health Day, and Prilly Latuconsina wants to share something.

In her post, she wrote "I want to talk about how I built the character Tari. As I often mention, Tari is someone who always hides her sadness."

She continued, "She is a people pleaser or someone who prioritizes the happiness of others over her own. These 2 traits are common between Prilly and Tari."

Prilly admits she is not the type to be open about her feelings. She wrote, "I'm not the type of person who can show sadness in front of others, even in front of my own parents. If I have a problem, I keep it to myself and face it alone."

"People around me will consider me a positive, cheerful person, as if my life is just smooth sailing. That’s because I never show when I’m sad, crying, burnt out, or when I just want to give up," she continued.

Prilly is afraid that if she shows sadness or weakness, she will be taken advantage of by others. It’s not easy to keep everything to herself, but in the end, she realizes that it’s not healthy for her mental and physical well-being.

She also admits that when her stress is high, she can end up going back and forth to the emergency room because she falls ill. Because of that, she has started to learn to express her feelings, for the sake of her mental health as well.

Prilly reminds many people, "So for you who are also like me, it's okay to occasionally show that we are not okay, it's okay to cry in the arms of someone you trust, it's okay to ask for help and say 'NO'.
