She often received praise for her stunning performances on the Indonesian Idol stage. However, Angie had to end her journey in this competition due to receiving the lowest votes from the audience.
Angie was born on January 8, 2008, and is a mixed Brazilian-Indonesian girl. Her father, Ronivon de Carvalho, is a former coach of Barito Putera U-16 football team.
Now, her father has become an Indonesian citizen, while her mother is from Banjarmasin.
Angie has shown musical talent since the age of 10, and from the very beginning of the Indonesian Idol auditions, she managed to impress the judges with her distinctive voice and emotional performance.
During the competition, Angie was known as the contestant with the most standing ovations. In the Top 15 round, she performed the song "Mencintaimu," which also received five standing ovations from the judges.
In addition to her singing talent, Angie is also known for having a great interest in the world of fashion and makeup, which makes her always look stylish and confident. She idolizes international singer Celine Dion and Indonesian singer Lyodra Ginting as her vocal inspirations.
With Angie's elimination, Indonesian Idol Season 13 now leaves four contestants who will continue in the competition, namely Shabrina Leanor, Mesa Hira, Vanessa Zee, and Fajar Noor. Her journey as a singer is not over yet; hopefully, her career in the domestic music industry will shine even brighter.
