Project Pop Successfully Closes the Last Day of BNI Java Jazz 2024 Through Their Hit Songs

Kapanlagi.com - The last day of the 2024 BNI Java Jazz Festival, Sunday (26/5) at Jiexpo Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, was enlivened by one of the famous music groups in the country, Project Pop. The group, led by Udjo, Yosi, Odie, Tika, and Gugum, successfully rocked the Java Jazz Stage with their timeless hit songs.

Project Pop started their performance with the songs Beda Sama Kamu and Tuwagapat. After that, they didn't forget to greet the audience who filled the venue.

"Thank you Java Jazz for daring to invite us here," said Tika.

"But we will consider it if there are many audience members, we will change our name to Project Jazz," Yosi added.

1. Project Pop Invites the Audience to Dance

Then it was time for the song Coconut, which was definitely no less exciting than the previous song. During that song, Project Pop immediately invited the audience to dance along. Not only that, the audience was also invited to reminisce through the song Pacarku Superstar.

"It's amazing how this song is received, shall we do it again? There's one song that we prepared for five months, this song has a bit of an orchestra feel, how can we make it into jazz?" said Udjo.

2. Bring Hit Songs

Not to be missed, the hit song of its time, Goyang Duyu, is performed with beautiful jazz arrangements. Project Pop also performed Lumpia vs Bakpia, which became one of the songs from their first album.

Towards the end of their performance, I Will Not Survive was also performed. Eventually, Dangdut Is The Music of My Country, Bukan Superstar, and Ingatlah Hari Ini closed Project Pop's performance perfectly.
